is it just me that the stages look so smooth compared to previous years?

i remember them being more rough

SS1 had some rough places in the beginning. SS2 and SS6 are smooth altogether. SS3 is mostly smooth with some rough places hidden in the 32 km length. The roughest sections will actually come tomorrow.

No But for example driving SS1 only once reduces the rough sections. Similarly, the super rough section where Evans and Østberg retired in 2018 hasn't been run since.

EDIT: Incorrect to say SS3 is smooth because it's not similarly smooth as SS2 and SS6, but it's like "medium".
