I can see why they want to use the upcoming ERC events, but can they cope with being converted to WRC events at such short notice and with the much bigger crowds ?

Also, will the ERC and it's driver's accept their rallies and championship being totally overshadowed by the WRC big boys ?

If they play it right, it's a good opportunity to get a free WRC2 or 3 entry.

That said, it's not like WRC do anything at all to actually give their privateers any publicity.

"four or five" rallies have been identified as possible targets to be added to the 2020 schedule - Cyprus, Estonia, Ypres, ...
revised 2020 calendar is expected to be released on June 19
