He was too fast. Maybe wrong pacenote made on recce, either in terms of corner speed or not appreciating how big a compression that was.

There are weird sounds between the cut on the right side and the moment car left the road, you can hear them in onboard and outside video, it sounds like car is bottoming twice ... maybe he broke something in that cut and was not able to steer the car???
