TV and Eurosport isnt everything.
A sponsor could use his image and pictures of his car in advertising showing their brand is associated with a rally champion.
CF 24/7 clearly saw a reason to sponsor Ingram:

Ah-ha... seems Ingram does have a couple of new (local ?) sponsors !

Edit: Nope they are the rally sponsors on all the cars doors.

Oh, that is such a sad story. I had no idea that Zoltán Bessenyey has never fully recovered from his crash in 2016...

Habaj crashed in FP and it looks like he won't be able to start the event

Aside of that the QS results are: 1. Ingram, 2. Lukyanuk, 3. Mareš, 4. Herzig, 5. VinczeStupid is as stupid does. Forrest Gump

Habaj's mechanics are currently trying to repair his car, but it is still unknown if it is possible. More about the crash here:

Wow! This is great! 84-year-old Vic Elford sends a message of support to Chris Ingram. He doesn't understand why no Brit has won the ERC title in the last 50 years and why no Brit has yet won the Monte Carlo Rally. So he encourages Ingram to do both
