Meeke with a puncture warning light, and Latvala says he has no confidence in the cuts. Bit of a worry for the Toyotas that still.
Great time by Meeke nonetheless, takes Sordo....

Sordo must be the worst driver in understanding his own speed or slowness during the stage.

Now new Tanak car start to "shine" on 2nd splits. Nueville spec car suit only for Nueville. Did Tanak - Neuville? Nope.

A sign of going back to Hyundai tarmac reality?
Bit early to tell still, we'll see after a few stages.

Kopecky got favorite suface and already good splits from the start. Shame that on gravel he was far away from lead

Hyundai tarmac reality the last two years (until Germany this year) has been lack of pace, especially on open sweeping roads. With only Neuville having occasional top speed (for example on some stages in Corsica).
We got one stage that looks like that, but way too early to tell.
To be honest I think that Ott wouldn’t have had answers to Oliver today even without the error. Not with the tools he has
