I was hugely impressed by Tidemand when he was a young gun that just came on to the rally scene and led rally sweden.

After that he became more careful, less risk taking and his pace just vanished and he just got "stuck" like so many others before him.

So many drivers hit a development roof where they just simply can not coax more speed out of their driving. This happened to Tidemand as well.

Well, well. It´s easy to be wise like this. When I´m saying "we" meaning there were a lot of people thinking he needed a proper chance.

Having said that, meaning also proper testing, good funding. Without that we have the situation. To that one can add some parts of your thoughts, but I think they are "efterkloka". Om du fattar...
