In theory it's not ridiculous because WRC Promoter owns exclusive rights to publish video footage from WRC events.

Meanwhile, I personally would love to see amateur videos in the future as well.

Remember when you hide in the bushes during Safety car...they know what you're doing. This kind of behaviour could lead into more strict prohibiting of unofficial spectating areas.

However this is only example of hiding.

Placing of spectators, on the other hand, is not unusual for Finland or Sweden, I think. Seen worse.

Having said that, Finland isn´t place to give examples from bad behaviours from spectators.

The worst thing I have seen in my life is spectators taking selfies while sitting literally half a meter away from the point where cars were landing after a pretty big jump in Acropolis Rally 2018. I was pretty sure that someone would get killed but these guys were really lucky.

I doubt that.

In the f1 the ticket you buy is a contract that gives all right to whatever media material you make to the promotor. If you don't give away your rights you don't make it anywhere near the track.

But in rally there are thousands of people who don't have a ticket and thus have no contractual obligation towards the promotor.

No matter what contracts the promotor has with the fia, the teams or the organization, they have no contract with me so whatever footage i make belongs solely to me.
