ANDREA ADAMO (HYUNDAI)
"We are in situation where the fight is very tight. I think it is my job to do whatever is possible within the rules to try and win."
SÉBASTIEN OGIER
"First of all I don't think I need to comment on Hyundai's tactics. The morning was good - I'm happy with what I have done in the car. It's also confirmation that we have made some good improvements in the car."

Well they did manage that indeed (although i remember a couple of Fabias burning, it wasn't to the extent it has been with the Polo)
But they spent a very long time working on that project, even running the mechanicals in a Fabia S2000 shell initially before the new car was available.
And maybe running a works team helps them to quicker identify and get on top of problems too.

If you think it was easy for them you are very wrong. Building the R5 cars really is a challenge and a big one.
The strange thing is that as far as I know it was known for quite a long time why they were burning but it took a lot of time to have all paper-sorted for the updated homologation.Stupid is as stupid does. Forrest Gump
