30 degrees is not something extreme. For decades were run Acropolis and Cyprus with much more heat, without such problems.

It"s incredibly frustrating how Ogier never has any problems like other drivers. He will again slip into the first three or even win if Tanak's Toyota will survive untin tge end. I'm completely sure that Meeke's and Latvala's won't.

This kind of discussion been here since Loeb from 2004 onwards, then with VW domination it was Ogier vs Latvala and now it's Ogier only.

They "always" seem to have less issues/punctures w/e. But that can be easily turned around. it's always the drivers like Latvala, Meeke, Evans, Mikkelsen etc etc. that have puctures, car issues etc. Over multiple tens of rallies it's not due to sheer coincidence. It's just that the multiple champions don't take those 0.05% extra risks and still are fast. Also they will rather take a bit slower time in one stage and drive it safely than risk issues. If you want to be a champion fighting them you have to learn that...as Neuville found out in 2017 and Tanak in 2018. Both these two look like they start to learn that skill now as well.

Well yes but neither of them, except Tanak, had any real issues with the car that was beyond their ability - except Tanak on multiple occasions. Neuville's and Ogier's mistakes in Chile and Sweden were clearly driving faults. That is what I'm refering to.

Řstberg and Yates both with double-punctures showing the stages have become rough.

    Yates:
Bad news ! That's the end of today for us. Double-puncture on SS6 and only one spare. Hardly surprising - stages have been incredibly rough.
