How dumb you have to be to steal a pretty rare car like a rally car? What did they want to do? Selling parts via eBay ?

Of course you can sell the parts and if not directly in Poland for sure you can do that accross the border in Ukraine.

Well, you're probably better informed than me, so I guess you´re right. But as an owner of a Fiesta R5 don't you buy the parts directly from M-Sport?

The rich teams do but plenty of others don't. It's same like with stock cars.

Crikey. Shows how difficult it is to build a good R5 car when even VW, with all their WRC success, struggle with reliability problems.

They should've left the R5 market to their sister company...

The motorsport department which VW built has to be used for something and the R5 projects have proved they can be self-feeding or even profitable.
