He could moan all rally long and cruise the car till the end, like Ostberg did in Sweden, but he braverly managed to show the car is fast, dominating the event until the brake faillure.
More than being embarrassing for Citroen, Ostberg constant complaints are starting to be embarrassing for himself.Rally addict since 1982

I dont ever remember Lukyanuk moaning about any car he's driven. He just drives whatever he's got the best way he can.
In this case the C3 deal with Saintéloc was pretty late and he is probably just glad to to have the drive. Moaning about the car would look quite ungrateful.
Østberg is an experienced WRC driver of several cars plus he did help with the C3 WRCar's geometry to good effect. So he has the right to be critical of the R5 car when he thinks it's necessary.Last edited by Fast Eddie WRC; 11th April 2019 at 11:25.

For sure, but what’s the point of being overcritical in a public way, damaging the C3 image over potencial costumers? After Lukyanuk performance in Azores, should we still believe that the car has some kind of fundamental issue on gravel?
Anyway, what mostly matters is to have the C3 being properly developed and improved, with the feedback from Ostberg, Lukyanuk and all Citroen Racing national costumers. Fingers crossed.Rally addict since 1982

Opponents of Østberg in Sweden were quite lot faster than those who Lukyanuk had in Acores

Yep, but Ostberg (and the C3) performance in Sweden is a bit hard to judge; in the first loop he was actually fast but all his WRC2 Pro opponents were soon in trouble and there was no need to keep fighting for a pointless RC2 lead: https://www.ewrc-results.com/results...201206&ct=1018

Same was Subaru with Prodrive, maybe tuners getting some backing from a partner Manufacturer would ease the budget effort of the Manufacturers itself, but it could help out filling the entries with...
