Verschueren was on pace with them last year when they where all running Fabia's. He couldn't keep up this year (difference was not big but it was there) and punctured twice.

Must be noted aswell that this was his first outing on Pirelli's, before that he was on Michelin.

I have to say that the new Peuegot 208 is very nice looking car (way better than C3 IMHO) which would look awesome with the wide body kit. I hope they make the R5 of it!

In Northern France William Wagner won his first outing with the Polo R5. Quentin Gilbert, who was second (and only competitor closely following), also with Polo R5, retired with a damaged wheel.

@Fast Eddie, of course they're still dominant, there are no Polo's yet on the British Isles.

But the Fabia and i20 are both here and newer and didnt dislodge the Fiesta from the top.

Dont like it... too much of a crossover look IMO.

That 208 is quite different (to previous Peugeots)

To me it looks more Citroen-style.

New Fabia is probably bit faster than Polo.

That´s what current Polo owners (who had Fabia before) thinks.

It´s also expected. And Polo and others will develop.
