    It’s not a Finnish championship rally.

    WRC cars will run outside points scoring championships. It’s not even the only such class. Overall points are not awarded anyway.

    There is own class for those (class 7 WRC newer than 2002 and R-GT + factory cars without homologation)

    Those are just for Overall win, nothing to do with Championship points.

    Al-Rajhi has been several time in Arctic Rally with Fiesta RS WRC + some other drivers. Check "EWRC" for info

    Also World RX driver Niclas Grönholm will make his rally debut in Arctic Lapland Rally driving Printsport´s SKODA Fabia R5. The codriver will be Antti Linnaketo.

    His father will surely be proud, when this finally happens It´s just too late if trying to make a switch from rallycross to rallying, but probably this is not that kind of aim...

    only in Finland JWRC competitors leave after all other R2 drivers.
    Lots of foreign drivers also with bigger numbers, check it out.

    Bottas getting up to speed, very mature approach I must say for first rally ever and in a WRC car. Probably also last one for a while so best to stay on the road as long as possible

    Siikakämä 42.69km and 30s off the best time, a tenth quicker than veteran Juha Salo

    Lindholm's average speed for Arctic Lapland rally 123 km/h. Would have to be one of the faster rally winning average speeds for an R5 ??
