An expert in nothing I am, but I know a bit about rallying and I’ve spent a lot of time watching rallycross all over the UK and sometimes into Europe, but honestly, I wouldn’t even go if I was flown there to enjoy the finest hospitality these days.

What you're saying about rallycross applies virtually across the board in motorsport. F1 cars all look the same, touring cars are virtually one make series, there's little difference between the top cars in rallying, and so on.
