Honestly, the problem is not even Toyota supposedly trying to hide it (that’s a common and understandable procedure when these things happen), it’s more the way people in the social media are eagerly saying Amen to the fake photo allegation, promptly accusing those who do believe it’s not fake of being Meeke haters…

Yes the only interesting thing about it is how aggressive some Meeke-fanboys are about the whole story (just read the first response C Clark got).
It's completely normal to have small crashes in testing and normally almost nobody hears about it unless it's massive (like Ogier before Finland 2017)

Yes, it’s the same reg plate both days (taken from the day 1 video and then day 2 photos).

Although that yellow temporary plate can be moved from car to another by just activating another car on an online service and filling out temporary driving forms. But I think the dents on the roof reveal it's the same car
