Second, of course was Roxys faster than Ucci....Ucci was driving for thr championship, it would be very stupid to fight with Roxy. And even i20 is a space shuttle (Roxy drove all last modifications; he admited that the car progressed extremly) compare to old P208.
Me too I watch it closely and for sure last year he wasn't faster. This year Ucci was still generally faster on tarmac (except maybe rally elba) which is 70-80% of the championship. You told me to go watch results but I highly recommend you to do it yourself as well. Look at stage results on Ciocco, Sanremo etc...
And if I'm not mistaken Ucci was first on the road on gravel...

The team manager also said that Ucci already knew Adriatic itinerary because he made a sort of spot about the rally talking about the stages before the stages were official. I'm not informed on this though...

I think Mirek means in comparison with Fabia and Fiesta.
Even Neuville wasn't convincing compared to the local Belgian drivers with Fabias in Ypres.

For the car, which is in production for five years, if I'm correct; those troubles are strange....
We had broken wheel hub on Fiestas R5 also on Barum (Pech and Cerny), co nothing special. Broken axleshaft can also happen, dont forget that he was doing FP and QS before, also that mickey-mouse stage was ideal for breaking this things...

Guys I've been absent from this forum for a while so maybe you have already talked about this but I've just been told that next year Crugnola could be driving Polo R5 at CIR. Did you know about that?

It will be interesting to see how fast the car is on Your really twisty asphalt stages. Polo has very long wheelbase for a modern rally car and together with no center differential it might be a disadvantage.
