They won't win manufacturers championship if Neuville's the only one who scores tarmac points.
So maybe they need to have Neuville, Sordo-Paddon and Kopecky-Mikkelsen
Funny enough despite his 'useless on tarmac' reputation Paddon was actually bringing in fairly consistent points on tarmac in 2016/17 - obviously not challenging for podiums and wins like he has on gravel, but often 5th or 6th which is still useful points.
I can´believe those high figures around engines and gearboxes. It can´t be per unit, only an average of total costs... including development etz. So one more engine wouldn´t be that much as mentioned...
I think yes and manufacturer team can use up to 9 chassis per season. I don't know what's fuzz about here. Hyundai just puts this Tänak chassis into garage after this and take new car with new two...
What if some drivers are good destroying the engines more, some do destroy tires more, some do destroy whole cars more... I don't say Tanak do that. But last year he either was very good or bin it...
If this was so easy, why would they have a used engine + damaged spare in Chile? I think there is more to the rule
