Of course. Everybody else is still getting taken to school too. It shouldn't be possible for a guy who retired from full time rally in 2012 to get stage wins in 2018!

Yeah, alright. Even newcomers can win rallies with the right car with current technical rules and road position, ref. Lappi. I don't think it's something extraordinary, but ok, still an achievement.

Yeah I said on SS2 it'd be hilarious if Loeb shows himself competitive in the slightest with the current guys, the arguments will spread like a rash... oh his road position, oh he's not thinking about the championship, etc. etc.

Just enjoy the show as a guy 5 years retired is in second place at the moment, amongst drivers devoting their every waking moment to this competition. No need to worry about hypotheticals if Ogier was running 10th, or Loeb running 1st, or blah blah blah...
