I really like how Lappi is self critical and admits that he's still making small mistakes and has to work hard to be on top level all the time.

Nobody said it did, but I like Latvala for the same reason.

Self criticism is dangerous. It's good they are trying to be objective with themselves and improve but it's possible to fall into a trap where the constant criticism prevents you from getting the confidence to keep everything together. If you look at the champions they all have some kind of expression related to confidence, be it aloofness, relaxation, arrogance or a sense of self entitlement.
