Yeap. All the factory backed WRCs by M Sport had those plates until 2002. From the 03 Focus onwards, they disappeared and now they are making a return. Nice throwback.

... meaning it says FMC on the number plate. I had to research pictures from the Martini days to confirm that this is what they meant by it.

On paper, maybe. But you could easily do the same with F1. Because the final regulations weren't set until end of 2025, things were changing every time. Well you know when engine regulations were...
