Kopecky wins the stage

Multiple reasons likely appart from him being very good tarmac driver:

- smaller/narrower car with very good handling
- more rubber on the stage (just check the vid)
- getting colder fast once the sun sets so a few more hp

Don't get me wrong, it's Meekes mistake...BUT, Imagine how much pressure is on the guy now. I really feel for him.

However I think pressure decreased now.

More rubber on the roads surely helped a little, but he would have been up there even if he went first. He was 3 tenths faster.

You know Kopecky won 2 stages here in 2006 driving Fabia WRC against Loeb and Sordo with Xsara, Gronholm with Focus etc...

There is most likely a limit for everything. Sure he won't loose it because of this, but 1 more max 2 bad outings and it might run over.

Lefevbre also had a spot this year... and then he didn't.

In terms of getting a result, yes...overall I think no. At least if he made a mistake in the next 3 days when fighting for a win or podium, people would understand he was trying to achieve something. If he makes a mistake now.....doesn't bear thinking about...
