That's true, although we most likely haven't yet seen the Kiwi at his best. His performance this year is quite reminiscent of Thierry's lack of results last year, and we've all seen how quickly that can change (i.e. this season). The way Lappi has gone straight into a World Rally Car and set fastest stages times rally after rally is quite impressive, although for him to be a serious contender in the future his abilities on tarmac will be paramount (also an area where Paddon in particular has trouble). Let's keep our fingers crossed.
