    Latvala's best chance was this year. Next year the Toyota may be better but so could the Hyundai and Ford. Citroen can't be worse. Talk of Ogier being lucky, slow etc are so wide of the mark. He is the champ and this is not by accident. He is just far superior to any current competitor in analysing what is required in terms of pace for any given set of conditions.

    Massively impressive of Tänak to not lose more time than that. It will be an interesting fight tomorrow. Shame about the loss of Latvala.

    It's this moment that caused the puncture. So he wasn't "unlucky with puncture", he was lucky not to roll (over a few spectators).

    I think he was yesterday. Today he's been unlucky at ss7 and seemed backed off, may be relying on Paddon's mistake, may be 2 points more don't make big difference, who knows.

    I've noticed it is a mark of a champion (I don't have a memory of Loeb doing this but I might have been too young to remember).
