I find it funny that people still go woooahhh when Meeke and Hanninen go fast for a while on the first day. They have no measure. Win it or bin it my ass they both go way too hard until it all goes tits up. You guys all know what Einstein's definition of lunacy is.

I get the feeling that they both can't go at 95%. They either drive at walking pace or straight into the next bit of scenery.

I think the wow factor from Hanninen is that he's actually doing well. General consensus says he's not that fast, so it's always surprising to see him near the top.

It's a proper long day tomorrow. I reckon around three of those top seven are going to be put out of contention by either a mistake, a rock, a puncture or technical difficulties.
