I would blame the FIA and the promoter who approved this. It's normal that organisers try to dream big and new things to sell better the event. But FIA who must say "stop" it's to much or too risky. Branch of amateaurs.

its the same, just without the 2 first stages, why the hell they didnt bring SS4 and SS5 to earlier time now? man i must go there myself

It better to have more time with that situation despite try run one or two stages with "rush time" for car preparing, it could be worse. So now this decision looks quite fine

....and people thought China would be a good idea! Rallying isn't a truly global sport and if long haul is needed then South Africa, Australia and NZ would all be preferable.
