    why doesn't he just take that wheel off and drive on 3 wheels to the finish? its not like its a long stage.

    he would have lost a minute or 3/4, but that still would have placed him 6th.

    Remember, driving with 3 wheels isn't allowed.He needs 4 wheels on car at all times.
