Nice thread Mintex! My 5 educated guesses for a wild ’17 season:
1. ’17 cars will be 1s/km faster than ’16 from the start, getting close to 2s at the end of the season.
2. Neuville and Hyundai will become ’17 WRC champions. The Belgium and his team will have a close to perfect season, also managing to profit from Ogier/MSport issues and Meeke mistakes.
3. Problems in the Ogier/Wilson partnership: MSport isn’t used to work around a star driver and Ogier ‘Prima Dona’ genes will end clashing Wilson’s team owner strict mentality.
4. Serious crashes (hopefully without injuries) from 2nd level drivers using ’17 cars, making clear they’re not safe in all hands. Mama Prada will, finally, put an end to Bertelli’s rally career.
5. At the end of the year the FIA will announce WRC cars will get a 34mm restrictor from ’18 onwards. ’17 stage records will became the unbeatable benchmark for seasons to come.
For sure he is back with promoter, but I am not sure if he still cooperates also with Hyundai.
