It would be difficult for me in there not to have everlasting days in summer and snow in winter and darkness to feel warmth inside rooms I know many people who have been working in our University and when they are telling honestly then they say that its very hard for them to get used to our winter and climate.. on the other way around, Japanese people really enjoy our winter.. my boss says that it is really, really cold in Nagoya and Kyoto in winter but here it is always very nice and warm (inside the room I mean ). And all the work with Japanese is a bit slower than you might want, so, if you sum it all up then these can cause a person to move away from Finland indeed
It's not that bad in Jyvaskyla, you have sun for 5 hours a day right now and this is as dark as it gets
You need to go at least 10 hours further north for it to be almost no sun.
