Jouhki can say whatever he wants, i actually believe that Wilson isnt interested hiring Latvala. Only 3 podiums this season with VW.

Don't have a link handy but they said they will continue the program as far as they can, up to preparing homologation papers and going through the preliminary steps. But they can't actually homologate the cars because they won't enter as a manufacturer.

I assume this is because they still have the budget which was approved for this year and they're just going to try to finish the job as best they can.

I will never understand this.
If they signed a deal, why not make it public? All those secrets around Toyota are just annoying and I think useless too. For sure they're not gathering fans in such way.
Makinen should have hired some communication expert. In 2016 it's fundamental.

Latvala is not yet released from his VW contract.Announcing that he already has a new deal in place will reduce his buy out price.

Lappi was still under contract of Škoda and it was before he become WRC2 champion with Škoda.
