Problems for Pech? He loses over 1 minute and drops down to the 13th position on SS5.

I have just returned from stages. According to Pavel Dresler they were doing some harvesting on SS1B (SS2). Big surprise for me is Štajf. By the way according to a friend Černý was probably slowed down by Odložilík driving slowly after his off in SS3B (SS5).
I was on SS1A (SS1) at a hi-speed jump on a narrow forest road near the finish. Kopecký for sure fastest there. Pech carefully, didn't jump at all (as I said before the rally he doesn't feel comfortable with Porsche on jumps). Also Grzyb surprisingly slow there. The biggest jump however goes to Rada with his Alfa Romeo N3 whose landing was anything but safe
Then I moved few hundred meters just after the start of SS3B (SS5) into a fast gravel section between the fields. The night was bright thanks to near full moon and the countryside was all quiet. One could enjoy listening the Porsche symphony in the fields Here Valoušek and Grzyb looked fastest (and most flamboyant). I was surprised how fast one can go on gravel with asphalt tyres without doing any drifting because for example Kopecký drove absolutely clean line. Pech didn't do any spectacular drifting. Even though he was spinning the wheels in every acceleration he kept the car straight.Last edited by Mirek; 17th June 2016 at 23:23.

For the moment looks that Valda is the only one who can keep up with Kopecky. Štajf suprisingly fast, althoug the gap behind first two crews is alrady big.....Pech loosing a lot on 6th stage....Jan Donhal-is this his usual speed?

Kopecky seems a bit off colour? Or just pacing himself?

Almost all Finn's since Paavo Nurmi who are fast in their sport have been called "Flying", particularly the 1960's rally drivers, but I was actually thinking of "Flying Finnish" - the timing line at...
