I think John the view is from a chopper, the camera is moving, the rotor noise.....
And the stage is all cobbles....

This is a big failiure by stewards. In case of forest fire, stage should have been immediately stopped and other cars stopped before reching to the scene. This is damn eucalypt forest that burns like gunpowder, they should know that? Imagine cars going through the forrest while it is burning and then spectators in the forrest who want to escape along the road while cars are still driving in competitive mode. Luckily nothing worse happened. This topic in such rallies and in such forrest must be more carefully adressed.

But think from the money hungry promoter view. All that press! For free.

Relax, everything was well controlled by the organizers, firefighters were quickly on scene and according to some friends also on the scene there is a road immediately below and the fire danger could easily by contained. Also as soon as the organizers knew what happened they stopped the stage. Dont be so quick to judge.

No surprise to me - Fuchs has been improving steadily since going R5 and has started adding speed to his PWRC consistency. Good guy too!
On the subject of Meeke without even a posted split to go on, previous stage performance was the only way to assess the time to be given.
