Its a repetitive behaviour without meaning.... exactly what Bogey times are... because cars still go faster than the bogey time and they are awarded a time that means absolutely nothing, and because there are people like yourself that see a reason behind it we have to suffer.

My apologies for the obsceneties but why hasn't NOT been banned? This isn't the first time he has made fun of autism and as I see it how is that any less reprehensible than being racist, sexist or homophobic?

Oh the self-proclaimed God has been banned for some time, but it was a bit too quiet then.

But all the all the name calling and other stuff aside, he is on the right track. Bogey times are no good for a championship that is aiming to resurect itself as a top level national championship. And as it is a first tier national championship, then why on earth aren't the events run as 'international'?

The "no money" argument can be used only as a short term excuse.

I suspect that running as an international would reduce entries as people need to jump through more hoops for the licenses. That's why we saw some people not entered in the top tier in the Circuit of Ireland.

Why? The clubs who organise the BRC events are cash strapped - and the current NRW issue is not going to help.


Though as I keep saying, the Promoters, IMS, should be doing more - they're not short of money.

Thanks for the apology - I understand how provocative some people can be so was trying to calm the situation while I consider the next move.
I am not a self appointed arbiter of what forum behaviour should be, only a Mod because that was the necessary level of permission in order to run the Pickem. However I am mindful of Mark's request that we keep it clean as it's a family forum. I also have an autistic relative so found it hard to maintain a level of detached judgement.
Recently we've had sexism, xenophobia and homophobia in other threads so while I am on holiday at the Spanish GP I shall be considering a post of Rally forums standards of behaviour.
