Hayden said something similar actually, that the SD stage was tighter and twistier than most of the rally would be. Great driving though!

A chilly start in Villa Carlos Paz. Sunrise was 0743hrs and it's a fresh 9˚C in the service park now. The forecast is for a dry and sunny day with some clouds. The temperature should hit 22˚C later.

Soconcho - Villa del Dique 1, 24.71km. New in this formation although all but 2kms at the start were used in 2014. The main feature is the river crossings, seven in all as the test winds its way across the hills. The early sections are extremely fast on a sandy surface until the road becomes twistier and rougher at the midpoint. The final part is less rocky again. (source wrc.com)

sounds like disadvantage for first cars, yes

Neuville hopeless aswell, on second split already 8.2 seconds down on Ogier.

Edit: And no problem with the car aswell, his excuse is his confidence.

Is there anybody who still believes in Camilli?

Meanwhile a reasonably good start for Ligato.

Seems that despite his famous complaining nature, Le Champ is just too good for anyone else, regardless of road position! Hopeful that Paddon will keep the pressure up.
Kris Meeke got fired -PSG so terrified they quit!

Well it is his first time in Argentina, plus he is on strict orders to finish.
