    I also had that feeling before, not about the WRC cars but mainly other classes, like Group N. But at the time I was told it wouldn't be a problem.

    Even if you had a fuel economy that was 5 times worse than a powerful road car you still would end up with a 50 liter or less fuel tank to run out of fuel... I am quite sure they don't have smaller fuel tanks than 50 liters
