Actually it seems that the service area will be open but there is very limited parking possibilities.

If zero or just below on nights there will be no problem. Let´s wait and see. But for sure it doesn´t look good.

Do not worry, the rally will take place, there will be minimal amount of snow but plenty of frost, so, it will be frozen surface with some snowdust on top and more snow in the forrest. The only thing that sound s a bit unrealistic for me is Karlstad SSS. Latest forecast is promising but it is changeable, however, it seems that low pressure area is weakening and cold air is flowing slowly in, so, most of the rally will be on the edge, NW stages shoudl get more cold and snow and S+SW stages less snow and warmer temperatures. So, it will be like normal Liepaja conditions in past couple of years :P

Finnskog went ahead OK even though it was very wet and slushy.
But I always wonder what effect all the safely and recce cars has going over the roads... they must all wear through the snow layer...#M-SPORTER

Hayden Paddon : Really nice to have our hands on this machine - not so much snow but good feeling with the car.
