    could you please dont blame ERC, organisers or what/whomever for this weather - used to be proper winters at this time in Baltic states, please ask NOT why weather has changed (as he knows everything )

    Even when we don´t blame organizers the only one solution is to drop out Liepaja for next year. Global warming is fact , you can´t dispute it and having every second year of Rally Liepaja canceled doesn´t make any sense. It is like VHS videoshop business. It was nice, but it is past and those times won´t come back and simply nobody is responsible for that.
    Visit South Moravia. It is the real paradise

    No one is blaming ERC or Eurosport. But in ERC´s condition something like this is not very good too.

    No, but they are resposible for the calendar and rules. Firstly, they ruined Janner Rally with their stupid rules, now they chose a rally in Liepaja, that cannot be organized without snow. Are they serious?

    About Jänner Rallye you´re right, but about Rally Liepaja they couldn´t be blamed for the weather. Don´t forget it was OK in the years before.

    We are used to here in Latvia to quick weather changes. But this one was like a "blitzkrieg" - all snow was destroyed by plus temperature and rain within 3 days...

    Rally Liepaja is some sort of gamble with those winter conditions we experience in last 15 years, but still it's well organized and prepared. Sometimes there are some things you can't control.

    And yes, it's official now - rally is cancelled. There are plans for rescheduling it to some further dates, organizers will announce it as soon as possible.

    Past is past. I expect these weather conditions repeating every 2 or 3 years from now on. (and I am not even pessimist) It is just not passable for future because of the surface. And I am not talking only about ERC but LRC aswell.

    I dont agree that FIA or Eurosport ruined Jänner. There were different things behind...
