    I don't know but I think that it's good decision to canceled the rest of the leg when people start collapsing in numbers which can prevent medical assistence from reaching them in time.

    This is why I don't love the Dakar. Peterhansel and usually other French people never got penalised when they do things who are not allowed. A few years ago, Peterhansel hit a bike rider heavily in a river and he even drove with more speed after this. Other people should say sorry and ask if the bike rider is OK...
