I think that too. But I think also that Scandola has a very good rithm and would be the first even if Andreucci had not to sweep. 40 seconds is too much even if you are first on the road.
Hope Umberto brings it at home btw.

I've just heard about an accident with some spectators involved. Hope it's nothing serious

SS9 won by Basso, Scandola still in the lead. 17 seconds between Chardonnet and Basso in 2nd and 3rd position now. Very strong attack by Basso.
Andreucci drops other 7 seconds, this was the third pass so no sweeping problem for him, he's just slower. I think he has fixed that 3 cilinder problems otherwise he should have lost more time. Actually I didn't notice that problems throughout all the stages, are you sure about it RICARDO75?

Congratulations and respect to Umby Scandola for a very convincing victory on the gravel stages near Ancona. There was no doubt both two days who the winner will be....
By the way-there is still some ''fire'' in old Fabia S2000.
Even more I surprised about the pace of Chardonnet and Basso, who were clearly faster than Paolino Andreucci. Troubles with the engine of his P208 R5 - nobody heard them when driving on stages...????
Still, it is very good for the championship itself-three races & three different winners.
Roll out to Targa, this is a Andreucci's ''territory'', hope he will improve bad impression left by today's event...

Well deserved victory by Scandola. Leading from the beginning to the end and won most of the stages with his S2000. Can't wait to see him with the new R5 but I suspect it won't happen in time for Targa Florio.
Anyway I think today was not Andreucci's day, it happens, even to the best ones...
Very good job by Chardonnet as well, second place in his second outing in a new champioship and with a new car.
A bit disappointed by Suninen, I didn't expect more than 5th place to be honest, he was driving a S2000 and Rally Adriatico is very different from finnish rallys but as a rising star I thought he could have impressed more. Difficult to judge him btw.

Solid performance by Umby & Guido! Complimenti!
Ucci was a big dissappointment, driving looked uncertain which was surprising. Okey, I saw only three different places, but still... I've seen him much more confident. Three to four braking for the corner looked weird for him.
Chardonnet was very good also, but with his experience he should be at level like this. Suninen...okey, first rally abroad from Finland and first rally with 4wd on gravel. But as a rising future star I expect the same like AL14. I still remember 2010 when not-so-rising-finnish-star teased the big names in CIR with old gr.N Subarina...
For me the drivers of the rally were Scandola, Chardonnet, Giuseppe Testa and Michele Tassone. I was really impressed by those young drivers with their R2. Before the last stage the gap between them was 4,4s. We were watching 4km's from the start of the last stage and on that place Testa was faster by 2s compared to Tassone. I don't know what happened before the finish lane because Testa lost 20,4s on that stage. Maybe he spun or something like that? But on that point where we saw those guys they both pushed like hell!!
