He was a decent driver when he was more active, he had been away from the stages for a long, long time, he had hoped to do the 2013 event as it was 50 years since his Dad had won the event, it was cancelled because of snow but he came back last year. I've had the chance to sit in with him in the past and he knows how to drive, just his commitment on the narrow, fast, bumpy stages last year wasn't high enough, but that was to be expected all things considered.
I hope he gets plenty of testing time and can find more commitment for the quicker stuff, and that the forum warriors can appreciate that he is just a guy out having more fun than they are, in a nicer car than they will have, even in their dreams.

10-15 years ago he was a promising driver, in fact I'm sure he was in the BRC, and he won the Severn Valley Rally in 2002.
Is there a better sound than that of Porsche engined Flat-6 ???

We maybe have to reconsider Neuville's pace on high speed events. Now when he had a more competitive car, then the speed was speed there, previously the Hyundai was just so bad and it didn't give him...
