They don't get hit very often. As I said it's nothing new. Basically almost all Europe uses various anti-curring obstacles on thousands of stages and these signs are one of the most common things which are used.

From wrc.com in 2013: "Rallye de France-Alsace organisers have made special efforts to reduce the amount of mud and gravel dragged onto the asphalt stages by drivers cutting corners. The inside of many bends are lined by a series of heavy bollards to keep cars on the asphalt and prevent drivers shaving tenths of a second from their time by cutting."
But looking at the photos from 2013 there is no sign of any poles, posts, or even the barriers mentioned above...
So it is different in 2014.#M-SPORTER

No, it's not new. Every single year since it was moved to Alsace there has been the same discussion here about anti-cutting obstacles in Rallye de France. Only the type of obstacles changes. I still can't believe why some of you see it as something special...

I'm not so sure about your prediction. Maybe ask Trophy Wife, since her prediction on FGP has her leading you! But I'd be good with your prediction. Anything that doesn't stop the race...
