The positive thing is that Ogier isn't faultless and that Latvala seems to be a serious contender for him. Another positive thing is that Hyundai is catching up. The positive development through the season is quite obvious and I believe than next year they will be stronger. Citroën is still somewhat competitive but M-Sport must do something to be back in game and not only for numbers.

M-Sport should start attracting faster drivers.

Some friends have said that the rally Australia roads this year have a lot of loose on top. There has been a little bit of rain this week, which will help dust.

So that could make for cleaning issues for Ogier. I think Jari-Matti is still a chance.

even though there are another 2 tarmac rallies this year, Latvala is showing here that he is capable of applying pressure on Ogier.

    Sat 15:24 - SS12: Rain reported
WRC TV crews at the 7.4km point are getting a soaking. This could make things interesting.

Had JML not had that puncture in Sardinia, things would now look very different... I still think JML's championship chances are slim, if not practically non-existent, but this sport can sure spring surprises and given that VW allows their drivers to fight each other, I am hoping for a exciting end for the season this year.
