I bet you're the goalkeeper. Hence you like Higuita

So my thoughts about the quarter Finals.

France v Germany - I think this will be a really great match. Maybe the best of the tournament. France just need to find their attacking flair again, like they had early in the tournament. I think they could win this, however despite defensive issues, I personally always believe Germany will find a way to win. Whatever I really can't wait for this one.

Brazil v Colombia - I have not been impressed with Brazil. Really Neymar in early matches dragged them through and they were so fortunate to win v Chile. I believe Colombia are a tiny bit better than Chile at the World Cup and will again give Brazil a real match. However I always think Brazil will beat other South American sides. Generally they do, however due to not having to qualifying, they haven't played these nations for a fair while. So maybe the exciting Colombians can do something. All in all I think Brazil will win, but I will be supporting Colombia all they way. (Sorry Gadjo )

Netherlands v Costa Rica - Costa Rica have been amazing so far and finished ahead of Mexico in Qualifying and Mexico came close to beating Netherlands in the last match. However common sense says Netherlands will finally finish off Costa Rica.
I think they will do so, but you never know. I would see this as the least close of the QF.

Argentina v Belgium - I haven't a clue about this one. Pre tournament I though Argentina would be quite flowing and despite a great Belgium side, I would have thought the Argentines would finish the Belgians Tournament easily here. Now though Belgium have been average and Argentina have been dull and slow. I guess they way Belgium will play will be more open which could favour Argentina. I mean Bosnia, Iran and Switzerland have all sat very deep v Argentina and given them no space and all were dull matches. The match against Nigeria they went more attacking and Argentina looked alot better and they conceded too. So maybe if Belgium attack we could see a high scoring game, with Argentina attacking better but conceding more. Overall I would maybe see Argentina edging it. Messi will again be key. He scored created the first against Bosnia and scored the Second. He saved them against Iran and scored 2 of 3 against Nigeria, and then finally created the winner against Switerland for di Maria. So its clear Messi is Argentina at the moment and I will be interesting to see if Belgium go for it or whether they look to stop Messi and render Argentina toothless.
I still exist and still find the forum occasionally. Busy busy

USA bros, if you understand Spanish, I suggest to watch the Univision or whatever was the Spanish language channel that run the WC. The English language channel commentary sounds like a funeral and makes you want to switch the channel. The guys on Univision sound like poets and opera singers.

Personally, I think we have a pretty amazing line-up of games in quarter finals. Every team deserved to be in the quarter-finals (probably, because I watched all Group of 16 games, except for Colombia and Uruguay's)
