As I remember, Neuville had engine change during this season and they said it was an already used engine, so Hyundai could change it.
This also has to be considered, that Toyota would like to be also competitive in Rally2. Without Solberg there isn't currently anyone driving Toyota Rally2, who could be able to drive for the title.
Seems like the road might be getting a bit polished with all the mud? Just making it really slippery.
