His results in GB were only strong when he was in VW, before that he was very prone to mistakes there, I think if the pressure is on he might cave there.
You mean his results were only strong (4 in a row) when he became a mature competitor and No1 - He super rallied right to the end in 2011 winning the PS so only 2008-10 were 'poor' results. Ancient history!!
Road position is definitely helping where Solberg is concerned, but its worrying that the MSport cars directly behind him are already nearly a second a kilometre off his pace!!!
Also Neuville really surprised me with his time there, being on the same pace as Kalle.
