Lap times are not always about hp figures

I don't believe factory figures because the figures I know are completely different than what is claimed. There are cars I am quite sure about, for example Octavia WRC Evo II 320 Hp, Fabia WRC 07 340 Hp, Corolla WRC 320 Hp, Fiesta R5 300-305 Hp. I heard from several sources that Focus 08 had 370 Hp but I don't know that for sure.
I guess that current WRC 1.6T with 33 mm restrictor may have around 340 Hp. 36 mm restrictor gives approximately 20% more air which could roughly give a bit over 400 Hp. That's of course just my guessing but I find hard to believe that current WRC have less than 30 Hp advantage over R5 cars (Fiesta isn't the strongest anyway).
Man we really need some more news and rumours to emerge...
good sense of humour...
Some news from a sardinian newspapaper:
1) The alternative location in the mainland is not ready yet and require another year. The Promoter do not want to wait and maybe Sardinia can host the rally one more year. Or in alternative Italy will lose the slot for just one year, or lose it forever.
2)Main candidates to take italian slot should be Canada and Japan
3) Also Poland is going to lose the slot because of safety reasons and less money from Lotos.
4) There is a possibility that events can be shortened in future, with shakedown on friday morning and the start of the rally in the afternoon to cut costs.
