I just watched his and Ogier's on-boards on that place. Ogier is taking left before the corner and already positioned the car for the next left in the corner. Meeke was taking straight into it and obviously positioned the car for the next left at the bump, which unfortunately rolled the car at that speed. Bad luck? no, pure driving error.
once more, maybe you didn't read it(doubt it though)
This is not what we expected but fortunately this rarely happens. Our two cars, on a compression, had a heavy impact on the crankcase protector. We have to look at why we had such a strong impact there because we had not seen that it would be so impacting during the reconnaissance. But it's neither the fault of Kris Meeke nor that of Craig Breen, "said Yves Matton on the microphone of Olivier Gaspard, special envoy of the RTBF in Argentina.
Arab team of nobodies from top to bottom.
Breen still in service due to fuel leak. Will get penalty.
here we go again...

SS10 is delayed due to spectators #YPFRallyArgentina2017
it doesn't matter if it is on the road or not, if it is likely to cause trouble you have to have it in the notes.
if there is a three in the middle of the road, you aren't going to crash into it just because you follow the road are you?
I've driven rally's where there were huge potholes right in the middle of the road, deep enough to likely rip a wheel off. nobody drives through them just because they are on the normal line. no, people adjust their speed and/or line to avoid them.
and yes, drivers with that much experience know what a certain hole a bump will do to their car, even when doing recce at slow speed.
For me wrc.com splits are a lot faster than others. And I see splits earlier than rally radio, I think it pretty fast.
But if you don't like wrc.com splits try Michelin splits https://ranking-wrc.michelin.rngd.io...tina/splits/10 but they mb 30sec or so slower than wrc.com but have start time of a car
Tanti - Villa Bustos 1, 20.80km. This well-known test has been reversed for 2017. It starts in the middle on Tanti on asphalt before twisting uphill and crossing several water splashes. The second part is faster with some big corners that demand bravery. It is rough initially but becomes smoother as the roads widen towards the finish.
wow watch Paddons 1st split
it would be a lot faster till to the end of car list. I expect near -9.0 for 2nd place battlers
lol

@Craig_Breen and @scottmartinat retire from #RallyArgentina day 2 because of an oil leak... #WRC
shit.... this is not funny Citorens :(
I am curious how will go today Evans, can he keep the advantage?
Shouldnt Meeke be on the top of Start order? Does anyone know rally 2 regulations for starting order? Many thanks in advance!
Nice 1st split from Neuville
yes for sure if it's a visible hazard it should be in notes.
There is absolutely no way of knowing what a bump will do to the car.
There is plenty to speculate as to what it [I]might[I] do to their car, but knowing exactly how it will react at any given speed would be nigh on impossible.
Neuville split 1 ultra fast.Lets wait for Evans
Tänak stalled the engine and still fastest at the moment
Come on Elfyn... keep it going today !
Breen had to be retired but Meeke can carry on after wrecking the car... amazing.
Is the stage broadcast anywhere? Colin said on the radio that there is heli + onboard footage
And Ostberg started well again by the looks of Split 1... Evans too. :)
Östberg has lost second to judge the second split
Hydraulic issue hits Ostberg.. :(
