It's the worst combo - The car is so slow and very unreliable. I will be surprised if they make it into the second part of the season.

They have been testing and testing and they come up with this? It's pathetic!

Tony was only 0,5sec/km slower than Petter and GIGI on SS1 so I say you shut up boys!

First rally and near Petter and Subaru so not so bad!!

Give some time so you will see even better speed!

It's about Wilson. And yes, I don't know what happend to the not nominated Stobarts (Henning and Matthew). The are so slow. Less or no test? Other codriver for Wilson? No faith in icy conditions?

Duval has no safety crew for checking the road, so maybe the same for Wilson and Henning. Has Khalied one? See what the rally does when it starts by day light.
Hope Latvala can come back and Suzuki can fix the car.

Well, Henning is always slow on tarmac - it doesn't help that he drove his new car for the first time in shakedown. No testing whatsoever.

Positive things:

Gardemeister faster than expected and Subaru fairly OK. And the private pugs are still fast, even with less known drivers.

Other than than, pretty much as expected, Latvala too empatient getting puncture, Citroens way ahead, Mikko not able to challenge them on tarmac and Henning sucking maybe even more than usual. Shame Gigi is so rusty

We dont know the reason behind Duval's weather crew not doing the stages this evening. Radio speculated their car broke down so in that case what can they do? They aren't just not going to give him a gravel crew.

I do agree a bit of testing might have been nice but they dont have the budget of a works team and they gave their testing the the points drivers.

I'm not Seb's biggest fan but I'm enjoying the rally so far. I can't believe you lot, you've had no rallying for two months and already you complain. It's Monte Carlo, did you expect Loeb to be slow?

I found it interesting following the reports of the weather conditions, how there was ice on the first stage. I can't wait to see that on TV. And it seems that it was a good drive by Sordo on SS2, without his headlights.

I think this rally season may be world rallyings worst year, and biggest problem, since a long time. If Loeb keeps dominating, Subaru maintains their problems, Hirvonen canīt step up into Marcus shoes, Suzuki makes a fool out of themselves and so on...
Combine this with a growing environmental threat and more and more people and organisations talking abt banning events like rallies...

And Broccoli is strongest on gravel :) Nice showing from him, and a good demonstration of the potential of the Clio R3.

I'm still not sure what to make of the Suzuki performance. It's not as bad as I feared. Andersson's time on SS3 isn't bad at all. But I still think with this car they're not going to win any rallies. Almost all rally winning cars in the WRC era have been fast from the start, and weren't 2 s/km slower on their third event. But given that it's the Monte, and the leading car is a Citroën driven by Loeb, I'll suspend my judgment until the end of Mexico.
