all in all it was a good event.....Loeb won as usual and expected, Hirvonen looked like a poor mans Gronholm, faster than the others but way beyond the citroen of the Champ. On gravel he might be able to put some pressure on Loeb but for how long remains to be seen, wins without the will of the champ are out of the question on surfaces other than Finland and snow.

The suzukis did some encouraging times...but too many problems for a tarmac event.....i cannot imagine being more reliable on other surfaces.

The stobart boys dissapointed me a bit but i think it was their 1st event so getting points was first priority.

Lets hope we have snow in sweden and the show goes on....

I watch it wit Firefox and Windows media player 9. Works ok. Sometimes it is still pictures and only sound, but I think it is because I have cheap/slow broadband.

I got back from Monte Carlo at 3:30am after an 8 hour drive.
All in all, a good rally, my first time. I couldn't believe the number of people that turned up to watch the rally. We wanted to go to Col de Turini on Sunday, but they closed the road, so had to settle for Lucream stage.
I also liked the Thursday night stage, quite an experience.

I got about 1000 photos, not I have to go through them... :D

Last year Atko won stage St Bonnet 2 with the time 12:32,4,
this year he did it in 12:23.9! okey stage may have been 500m shorter this year but where are those extremely slow tyres? :laugh:

I just mean that he thinks he's the best, and in his interview after SS14 he said he wants to be doing better, and seemed to say that his fans weren't as important as a result.
I may be wrong but that's the impression I get of Gigi.
Oh please. He's proud of his fans (the fan club is the best in the world, period), you can't go wrong.
