Novikov said exactly the opposite at the SVT 1's overview last night at 10:45 pm.
It was like: "It is my first time here and I don't know the stages like the others do,
but I'll go maximum attack from the very beginning. That's for sure!" :D
Well maybe he forgot :)
But the Swedish stages will be first time methinks.

You mean he should be faster? Come on. The guy is just in the beginning of learning!
Neuville is in the beginning of learning, not Sandell !

For me it is. Last year he was 7th again but with the Skoda.
In completely different situation when he made a looot from starting position. After first service he was naturally only loosing positions. Plus he was with a car he drove already for two years...

What about Sandell anyone?
It´s very much Ketomaa here and Prokop there and we have Sandell, first time in WRC-car on 7 th. Not bad, is it??
Sandell did already some smaller rallies in a Fabia WRC, so it is not the first time for him in a WRC car.

It´s first time in Mini. Neuville drove Monte, didn´t he? Fabia is not Mini. When you talk about Hirvonen and changing to Citroen it´s very much about how he faces the new car and so on. Same for Sandell. First time in Mini. That´s it!

Wow, that was quite impressive from Solberg. Up until now the biggest difference between 1st and 2nd on a stage was 3.3, now Solberg wins by 7.4!
Might be road position had something to say due to the sun going down, but there's only Novikov between Solberg and Latvala and here up north the sun doesn't really go down in 5 mins it's rather that light slowly changes during more than 1 hour.

MIKKELSEN A. / FLOENE O. (st. č. 62) "Good day, but I think I was little bit too agressive on tyres and thus lost on this one."
Anyway I though Grondal can be close to Pajunen but in fact he is quite nowhere near him.

So it looks like JML chose the perfect start position then. Ogier must also have been driving to preserve his tyres given how good his SS9 time is - quite mature wouldn't you all agree. As the Pointer Sisters said ' I want a man who can take his time not come and go in a heated rush' AM take note!!

Ketomaa will not start again in SuperRally. Joint decision between him, Autotek and DMack because the tyres weren't competetive enough in mixed snow-gravel conditions.

Will the SS be streamed live again?
???
Miika
10th February 2012, 17:48
Ketomaa won´t be continuing in the super-rally, and according to this it´s mainly due to the tyres:
Ketomaa ei jatka superrallissa - MTV3.fi - Urheilu - Ralli - Uutiset (http://www.mtv3.fi/urheilu/ralli/uutiset.shtml/2012/02/1493077/ketomaa-ei-jatka-superrallissa)
"We could have continued in the Super Rally but with Autotek Motorsport and the tyre manufacturer we decided not to continue, since the tyre isn´t yet competitive in these conditions. The stages in the remaining days have even more ice which was the final decisive factor to withdraw."
..
EDIT: Almost as slow as Nobre, I´m gutted.

even if they test michelin/pirellis for a decade, the chances to produce a equal tyre are veeery few.It seems so simple, but plenty of tyre manufacturers didn t manage it.
Collecting data from one or two drivers at some events per year is useless. When they will undertant what is going on,the tyre rules they are going to change, and again from the start.

You can't switch tyre supplier during the event.
There is a rule for everything isnt there !! :)
As long as the tyre is an approved tyre, it should be ok to switch as in national rallies.

He actually signed as nr.2 driver. Wilson explicitly stated that if Petter is ahead of Latvala and there's no driver between them he has to let him ahead.
Anyway in the past few years, Latvala and Hirvonen have been clearly fastest in Sweden, not even Loeb could beat them. This year the story seems to continue.

I guess not....
Peterson: 2nd in championship 2 times, 3rd once.
Solberg: 1st in championship once, 2nd 3 times, 3rd once.
Peterson was for some years fastest by raw speed, well Solberg was that as well in 2004. Peterson was hampered by the team, Solberg certainly was hampered by the subaru from 2005 on.
All in all, it's very hard to compare, but what can be compared certainly doesn't give background for talks about different league.

LOL...
Team-mate ??? when did VW offered the ladycup champ a contract ??
Also what ogier must do ? let mikkelsen pass him to prove his good manners ??
LOL or to put in in the proper context...
LooooooooooooooL
I'm talking about Ogier, not Mikkelsen. Ogiers behavior should not be accepted. By the way, Mikkelsen also have a contract with VW.
Bad behavior will always get the boot, regardless of your driving skills. Wonder how long VW will put up with him. If Ogier doesn't stop his stupidity, he'll be out of VW before the end of 2013.
