Didn t said that they have to drive flat out.Just mention that we ll see how Fords they are from Sebs splits.
There is no point to attack maximum specially for Loeb.If he gets points this is going to happen from other crew retiriments and not from his speed.
Ogier to gain 4sec/km from n4 cars hasn t got to attack either.Just normal driving at their level without risks.

Agree with you NOT ... at the top end. So you've got to pick your excitement. Paddon, two minutes lost with turbo pipe failure, already back in front of PWRC. That's talent and it's exciting to watch. Also Ogier, where is he going to end up? Loeb's mission seems impossible, but can we really count him out of the points race? Has Petter got something to fire tomorrow? If you can't find your excitement in one place, look for it in another.

PS, you've said some good things about Paddon last couple of days. Good for you.

PS, you've said some good things about Paddon last couple of days. Good for you.

I think that Paddon is the best thing that has happened in resent years in Southern hemisphere to make rallying more popular there.

well thought tactics by Wilson this time. Latvala builds big enough lead today in fron of Solberg to clean the roads tomorrow and fell just between Solberg and Hirvonen.

It will be hard powerstage for Citroens, lots of cleaning for them while Solberg, and two Fords get the best starting position.

How can it being boring

The Citroens are wiell out of it and there will be a new winner

I might even watch this one on TV (it will be first one since Sweden as they have all been boring)

Dingardo
10th September 2011, 09:05
On SS12 - Graces 1, we had the PWRC #31 driver Kikireshko hit the start of the bridge infront of us. He almost ended up in the river, but the car slide along the edge and hit a post at the end of the bridge which rebounded it back onto the road. Knocked the left rear off, and broke both front wheels. Sadly I didn't get the start of it, as I was on the wrong side of the road, but I did pick it up from when he was halfway down the bridge.

Getting the pics off my camera now, will have the links up to the pics soon.

If both Fords were out and there were team orders from stage 2 yes it would be a boring event....its not only that (I do not expect anything better than you, but i will waste my time explaining) there are no battles, PWRC is being won with hands in pockets when it comes to speed, and just check the driver level in places 4-10....thats what makes an event boring.

By the way where are the missing parts from Solbergs downgraded car (because according to you and some other bright individuals who discovered the sport last week Citroen just pushes buttons and cars become fast or slow....)??? Still i don't have an answer.....please do bother to explain.

That's typically French, no one should see and know what they are doing. Okay I know this long time but nobody wants to know that here at the rally fans.

I still can't believe that no one else has commented on this blatantly xenophobic post from our resident forum French hater?

It's not like the Citroen are the only team to have ever covered a car up whilst servicing it and if you've got some sensitive technology then why not?. Ford serviced all of their cars in tents all the time at Rally Australia in 2005 and no one said how shifty the British were then?

the guys infront of novikov are grp N cars... Hirvonen gained 5 minutes on day 1 from Paddon (day 3 is not that long though but still)...so If ogier win 5 mins over the N guys tommorow he can be up to 6th...Novikov will not push so those 2 minutes are easily covered....we will see.

Good morning from Finland!
Watch results from wrc.com and it goes like it should be now.
Any news again what happened to Ketomäki? He did start today and drove couple of good times but retired at ss15?

and ss18 started just..

On Friday Ketomäki went straight off road on a lefthander after a downhill breaking, damaging rear wheel on a hole in the road breaking suspension parts, breaks, suspension arm and drive shaft. Today he started with superrally but the car's rear diff failed after midday service.

Ogier tommorow if he pushes he could be up to 6th overall....

Ogier took 1:33 back from Novikov today.
Today we had 146 km of competitive distance. That is around 0.65 s/km. Tonight we have around 99 km. Easy calculation: 0.65*99= 1:05. Difference is 2:33. That means he should be around 1.55 seconds faster than Novikov. Does not sound realistic.
Ogier was faster than KOSCIUSZKO today by 2.74 s per one km. So,with the same trend he can make up around 270 sec. which is less than 5 minutes. But he is still 6 minutes behind him. So, if nothing happens then Paddon and Novikov will be in front of him and maybe our Polish friend as well.
Position nr 9 sounds more realistic.

Actually - for those who are at my age or older - will remember when the Tyrrell F1 team was DQ'ed from the constraucter chanpionshi in 1984 then FISA/FIA did recalculate all points and moved points around, but with McLaren when they cheated in 2007 they didn't recalculate.
